The location of the con will be familiar to previous Escapade attendees: the Embassy Suites LAX North. The wide-open central atrium has been fondly compared to Ceres Station on The Expanse (without the subsequent death and destruction). It’s easy to spot friends (or potential friends) gathering in the lobby below.

The hotel is only one half-mile from the Los Angeles International Airport via free 24-hour shuttle (really!). Plus, it’s located within a mile of both I-405 and I-105.

One Important Logistical Detail: There are two Embassy Suites near the Los Angeles International Airport. We are back for another year at the Embassy Suites LAX North.

  1. Double-queen suites have limited availability, so book as soon as possible!
  2. There will be a $250 incidentals hold placed on your card for the duration of your stay.

Accessibility

The hotel has ADA accessible suites and public spaces are all wheelchair accessible, including the lobby, breakfast area, business center, restaurant, fitness center and pool. The underground parking garage has handicap parking with wheelchair ramps to access the elevators to the lobby.

Airport Shuttle

Flying in? LAX is your best bet. The hotel offers free LAX shuttle service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, approximately every 30-45 minutes. 

Driving Directions

Take the 405 Freeway to the Century Boulevard Exit. Turn left onto Century Boulevard, then right onto Airport Boulevard. The hotel is located on the corner of Airport Boulevard and 98th Street.

Take the 405 Freeway and exit at Century Boulevard. Turn left onto La Cienega Boulevard, then right onto Century Boulevard. Turn right onto Airport Boulevard. The hotel is located on the corner of Airport Boulevard and 98th Street.

Take Interstate 105 West and exit at Sepulveda Boulevard. Proceed through the tunnel. Turn right onto 98th Street and continue to Airport Boulevard. The hotel is located on the corner of Airport Boulevard and 98th Street.

Exit onto Century Boulevard. At the second light, turn left onto Airport Boulevard The hotel is located on the corner of Airport Boulevard and 98th Street.

Sepulveda Shopping District (1.3 miles away)

The Sepulveda shopping district features many restaurants (Panera, Boston Market, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, and many more), grocery stores (Ralphs, Trader Joes), CVS pharmacy, banks, office supplies, etc.

From the hotel: turn left on Airport Blvd, turn left at the light at Westchester Parkway, then right on Sepulveda.
