Escapade 33.5 is less than three weeks away. We will be using Vimeo for our vidshow, Zoom for our panel tracks, and Discord as our main hub for hanging out, DIY panels, sharing links, getting hypes, and all the other fun. Tech test weekend is scheduled for August 11 and 12. If you are unfamiliar with how Escapade uses these platforms for our convention, would like tech help, and/or just want to hang out and say hello, we’ll have four different sessions during that weekend to meet on Zoom to talk. Times and Zoom links for the tech hours will go out next week. If you would like to meet one-on-one with one of the Escapade folks instead of the tech times that weekend, please email info@escapadecon.net and we can set something up.
On a side note, have you ever wanted to design your own program cover for Escapade? Well now is your chance! Since this is a purely virtual convention, we’re inviting everyone to submit their own designs for 33.5. The sky’s the limit! Designs can be posted to Discord in the EscapadeCon channel #program-covers
